DESCRIPTION:Sensitization of Young Audiences on Peace-Related Issues at the National Park\, Bamako – Mali \nBackground \nIn line with its commitment to promoting peace\, social cohesion\, and youth engagement\, Global Peace Chain Mali organized a peace awareness activity for young people at the National Park in Bamako. The initiative provided a platform for dialogue\, learning\, and reflection on the importance of peace in everyday life and in the sustainable development of communities. \nObjectives \nGeneral Objective \nTo raise awareness among young people about the importance of peace\, tolerance\, and social cohesion. \nSpecific Objectives \n\nEducate youth on the values and principles of peace.\nPromote peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among communities.\nEncourage young people to become ambassadors of peace in their schools\, families\, and neighborhoods.\nRaise awareness about the consequences of violence\, intolerance\, and conflict.\nStrengthen youth participation in peacebuilding initiatives.\n\nDescription of the Activity \nThe sensitization session was held at the National Park in Bamako and brought together young participants from diverse backgrounds.
